

Throughout his childhood in the early 1950s, he spent many of his summers in New England, venturing out into the fields at night and searching for owls. In the mid 1940s, he attended Tom's River Public Grade School in New Jersey. His favorite stories were about Pegasus and the flying carpet from mythology.

He took advantage of his massive inheritance and engineering know-how to build various gadgets and machines to assist him alongside his partner Rorschach on top of their combat skills.
